Heavy-Duty Waxed Cardboard Container with Lid – Ideal for Produce and Moist Goods

Our durable waxy storage containers with LIDS (20x16x9 inches) are designed for strength, moisture resistance and food safety.Made of wax-coated cardboard, it ensures excellent durability in cold storage, wet environments and when transporting fresh produce or wet goods.
 
It is equipped with a highly airtight lid that prevents leakage, contamination and damage to goods, making it ideal for wax boxes, fruits, vegetables and other moisture-sensitive goods.Its structure has been reinforced to improve stacking and handling efficiency, making it ideal for large-scale logistics, farms and food distributors.
 
As one of the most reliable waxed cardboard boxes on the market, it is both practical and sustainable.The exterior can be customized for branding, labeling and easy inventory management.

1. Product Overview
Specification: Standardized wax-treated cardboard boxes, with dimensions of 20"L×16"W×9"H, can be used to protect perishable, fragile or temperature-sensitive goods (such as food, medicine, cosmetics). Wax-based coatings (paraffin/beeswax/synthetic wax) offer water/moisture resistance, replacing traditional plastic gaskets.
Load-bearing capacity: The typical load-bearing range is 20-50 pounds, depending on the thickness of the wax coating of the wax coated boxes.
Structural design: Double-layer corrugated paper + food-grade wax impregnation, water resistance up to IP67, can remain impermeable after 30 minutes of soaking.
 
2. Product development
The carbon footprint of wax produce boxes is 41% lower than that of EPS foam boxes, but the recycling rate is only 12%.
Food industry: meat/seafood transportation.
Pharmaceutical cold chain: Secondary packaging of vaccines (tolerance verification at -70°C).
E-commerce: Custom wax boxes are used for pet freeze-dried food, and the breakage rate has dropped from 9% to 1.2%.
